The SEEDBYTE IEQ-SERIES Air Quality Monitor from Shanghai DST Sensor Co., Ltd. has completed RESET’s three-week testing and data review process and has been confirmed to comply with the RESET Air Accredited Monitor requirements. The device now joins more than 60 RESET Air Accredited Monitors globally and marks the seventh accredited monitor from DST.
The SEEDBYTE IEQ-SERIES is designed for continuous indoor environmental quality monitoring. The device measures particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10), carbon dioxide (CO₂), total volatile organic compounds (TVOC), temperature, relative humidity (RH), and illuminance. The monitor includes an integrated display with touch functionality for on-device data access and basic interaction.
The series adopts a modular design with hot-swappable expansion modules, allowing additional sensing capabilities such as noise and barometric pressure monitoring. For volatile organic compound (VOC) measurement, expansion modules support photoionization detection (PID) technology.
In addition, the expansion modules can support up to four electrochemical (EC) sensors, enabling simultaneous monitoring of parameters such as oxygen (O₂), ozone (O₃), carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), ammonia (NH₃), and chlorine (Cl₂), supporting a broader range of environmental monitoring applications.
The device supports multiple connectivity options, including Wi-Fi, RS-485, and 4G, and can be integrated into different network environments. Measurement data can be accessed through a corresponding dashboard platform, which provides data visualization and analysis functions.
"Receiving recognition under the RESET framework further reflects DST’s continued focus on developing accurate and reliable indoor environmental monitoring solutions through the SEEDBYTE product line.
Based on the IEQ indoor environmental monitoring system, the platform supports real-time monitoring of multiple environmental parameters. Through the IEQ expansion dock, the system can be configured with additional functional modules, including gas sensing, radar-based physical sensing, and battery modules, allowing adaptation to different monitoring scenarios.
Combined with industrial-grade sensing performance, AI algorithms, and data-driven analysis capabilities, the system enables real-time visualization of indoor environmental data to support environmental monitoring and management applications.
This certification also demonstrates the IEQ-SERIES’ monitoring performance, modular architecture, and data service capabilities in alignment with internationally recognized indoor environmental and health-related standards."
